These tough times is making people vulnerable and helpless. But even actor Bhumi Pednekar is in despair as she wants a ventilator bed. No, not for a patient but this time for her mausi (aunt). Just a few minutes ago, Bhumi took to her Twitter handle to share a tweet, requesting help from netizens for a ventilator bed for her aunt who is in Delhi. Bhumi’s aunt was in ICU but now, she needs to be shifted, she asks people to DM the necessary information as soon as possible.
She wrote, “This day keeps getting tougher. I need a VENTILATOR bed for my Mausi in Delhi NCR. She is in ICU but we need to shift her asap. If anyone knows of anything please send me a DM” The moment she asked for help, netizens flooded her comment section with contact details and resources from where she can find a bed for her aunt. Bhumi has also been very active on social media, providing help to needy people right from beds, oxygen to plasma. She asserted everyone to provide those in need with medical facilities in the best way possible.
Just recently shared a post on Instagram about the same and wrote, “DONT LOSE HOPE :) I know it’s tough seeing a loved one unwell. Am sure you’re confused and distressed. We will take you through this with the best of our ability. We are a citizen-led initiative and our teams working 24/7 to get you help. Please allow us time to find you the resource you need :) Stay safe and we are here with you.”
